Our July 4th Celebration was very unique and fun. First we had nine mounted horses in the parade, a photo session on the South side of the capitol, and a meet the horses on the South Lawn of the Capitol.

The City of Lansing 4th of July Celebration was led by the VFW and we followed after the mayor. We were led by two volunteer banner carriers Eric Blades and Matt Homer. The American Flag was carried by CDT Jessica Main on Flash and Escorted by SGT (R) Larry Heuer on SGT Unnoticed and SPC Tim Schilling on Lightning Strikes Twice. Additionally we had CDT Shannon Snyder on Boca, CDT Brianna Snyder on Ebenezer's Bride, CDT Jacquelyn Heuer on Dirty Talking Generator, CDT Laurie Snyder on Sunday Night, ILPH BM Becky Waldron on Rio, and ILPH BM Shelby Blades on Doo.

After the parade we took some pictures on the South side of the capitol.

And then we had a two hour meet the horses. We met a lot of very nice people who not only got to meet and pet the horses, but also helped the cause by donating to the charity.
