We had an awesome turn out for our first parade participation. The estimated crowd was 6,000. We received coverage on two news programs and the Lansing State Journal.
We led the Dansville Memorial Day Parade with our caparison horse "Eboniezers Bride" led by MSG (R) Robert Jones and the Honorary Commander for the day CPT (R) Wilson Leak (WWII Vet) followed by "SGT Unnoticed" ridden by SGT (R)
Laurance Heuer (Gulf War vet).
The Lead horses were followed by distinguished members of the VFW and their color guards.
After the group from the VFW we had our Mounted Color Guard Team led by the team Leader SPC Timothy Schilling, on "Lightning Strikes Twice" Standard Bearer CDT Jessica Main on "Flash", Army Colors carried by CDT Nikole Waldron on "Rio", Navy Colors carried by CDT Shannon Snyder on "Boca", the Marine Colors carried CDT Jacquelyn Heuer on Dirty Talking Generator and the
Air Force Colors carried by CDT Laura Snyder on "Sunday Night". And our new banner carried by the Dansville Middle School Honors Club. Assisting on the ground were Marika, Ulrika, Robert, Duff, Becky and Scott in the Truck
After the parade, a VFW service was held at the Dansville Cemetery.
